Chartered in 1954, the Arcadia Republican Women's Club has long been one of the premier clubs affiliated with 115,000 member National Federation of Republican women, the Largest, All-Women's Volunteer Political Oraganization in the Nation, with clubs in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The California Federation of Republican Women began in Los Angeles in 1920 as a study club. In 1925, the California Council of Republican Women was organized. In 1938, California joined the national organization. In 1953, the national organization adopted its present name, the National Federation of Republican Women. In 1954, California changed its name to the California Federation of Republican Women.

Our primary goal is education, motivating women to take an active role in the political process; thus, increasing our influence on legislation, ballot measures and election of Republican candidates.
